State Police investigating deputy-involved shooting in Winn Parish

WINNFIELD, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On June 20, 2025, at approximately 5:30 PM, detectives with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were requested by the Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office to investigate a deputy-involved shooting that occurred on St. John Street in Winnfield, La. According to authorities, one subject was shot and then transported to a local hospital. No deputies were harmed during the incident.
