INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating a deadly crash on the southwest side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 3:15 a.m. Friday to W. Southport Road and Mann Road.
They encountered a single-vehicle crash involving a fatality. IMPD said the intersection would remain closed for several hours for investigation and cleanup.
The scene cleared around 6:20 a.m.
The IMPD Fatal Crash Investigation Team was called to the scene.
