JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Two men were arrested on charges related to alleged child sexual exploitation.
According to Louisiana State Police, the LSP Special Victims Unit in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office launched a two-day investigation into child exploitation.
The operation ended on Wednesday, June 18, with the arrests of 35-year-old Quindel Jarrow of New Orleans and 32-year-old Edy Martinez-Rodriguez of Metairie. LSP officials said both were charged with attempted carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Jarrow was also booked on an outstanding warrant from Denton County, Texas. They were both booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
These cases remain under investigation.
