BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — June 18, 2025 — The U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Bloomington will permanently close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The center, located at Ivy Tech Community College, Room B201, 200 Daniels Way, has been assisting residents, businesses, and nonprofits impacted by the May 16 tornado and severe storms in Monroe County and surrounding areas.
Local residents and business owners affected by the disaster are encouraged to visit the center before it closes to apply for low-interest SBA disaster loans. The SBA offers assistance to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes, and private nonprofit organizations.

The deadline to apply for physical damage loans is July 29, 2025. Survivors do not need to wait for an insurance settlement before applying.
