NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A woman is dead following a stabbing that happened in New Orleans East near Venetian Isles on Wednesday evening, June 18.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the stabbing, which occurred in the 21000 block of Chef Menteur Highway, was first reported around 4:34 p.m., with confirmation around 5:23 p.m.
Police say that on arrival, a woman was found with what appeared to be stab wounds. She was pronounced dead on scene.
