ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC4) — St. George police arrested a man who allegedly broke into a home and claimed that God told him to in order to find a wife.

The victim found the man, identified as 43-year-old Kortney Leon Ahlstrom, eating their food. He reportedly told the homeowner that “God led him there to find a wife.”

Ahlstrom left the area on a red four-wheeler, wearing gold chains with no shirt on. Police stopped Ahlstrom, who police said was non-compliant and resistant when he stepped off the four-wheeler. Police tased him before he was put into handcuffs and arrested.

Ahlstrom was booked on charges of burglary of a dwelling, theft, possessing or receiving a stolen vehicle, and interfering with a peace officer.
