PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue said they put out multiple structure fires that all happened around the same time on Saturday afternoon.
The fires began at around 3:30 p.m., with one occurring at a home Southwest Leann Court in Washington County. At one point, the roof an adjacent home caught fire but it was put out.
Residents and neighbors were evacuated and the fire was quickly put out within an hour. Three people were displaced.
Then at 3:39 p.m., a barn caught fire near the 16600 block of Southwest Midway Road in rural Washington County.
Firefighters again responded and quickly put out the flames. It was determined to be caused by a mechanical problem with a vehicle inside the barn.
No injuries were reported for any of the fires.
