
Gallion will have her artwork on display at the “Chillin in The Garden” exhibit. Her pieces primarily focus on themes of community, family, and friendship, aiming to inspire and uplift her audience. Gallion was born and raised in Natchitoches and has been painting since the fourth grade. She held her first solo art show, titled “Me, Myself & Irene,” in Shreveport in 2019.
The Shreveport artist also was selected as a resident artist at the Bossier Arts Council for 2024 and was chosen as the 2025 Critics’ Choice for Visual Artist at Critical Mass 13, an event in Shreveport that showcases professional and emerging artists from Northwest Louisiana.
The “Chillin In The Garden” showcase will take place at the Lake Street Gallery on Thursday, June 12, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
