CAL Fire SCU reported the blaze just after 4 p.m. Wednesday in the area of eastbound Highway 152 and Dinosaur Point Road.
“Wind and terrain continue to play a significant role in the spread of the fire which is burning in the grass south of Hwy 152, towards the east and the San Luis Reservoir,” CAL Fire SCU says. “Firefighters continue to work hard and are making good progress.”
Officials say the fire has been 10% contained so far.
