Alexandria police investigate shooting on Roberts Street

ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) — One person was injured Wednesday evening in a shooting on Roberts Street, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Roberts Street at approximately 8:25 p.m. on June 11 following reports of gunfire. The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Police said the incident remains under investigation.
