LAFAYETTE, La. (
KLFY) — St. Mary Parish native and Acadiana’s rising soul artist,
ADO SOUL, has been selected to perform live at the
2025 BET Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show in Los Angeles.
He will take the stage as part of Crowd Stars 2025, BET’s official talent competition celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the BET Awards by spotlighting top independent talent from across the country.
ADO SOUL’s sound—a fusion of soul, funk and New Orleans energy—has already begun making waves nationally. In 2023, he was named one of Essence Magazine’s “New & Next” Artists, and in this year, he took part in the monumental live field performance that was Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show. Bringing Louisiana flair to a high-profile national moment.
Now, he’s preparing to represent his roots on one of the biggest stages in Black entertainment.
“This moment isn’t just for me, it’s for every small-town dreamer, every creative carrying legacy on their back,” said ADO. “My mission has always been to reflect love, truth, and culture through the music. I’m honored to walk this path.”
From small-town Louisiana to a national spotlight, ADO SOUL continues to uplift the sound of the South while claiming space on the global stage.
ADO SOUL recently released a powerful new music video that supports his Content for a Cause initiative—an effort to give underserved communities real-world training in TV & film production through mission-driven projects.
