Abilene experiences widespread power outages after storms, may not resolve until Tuesday

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Abilene is experiencing widespread power outages following a round of severe storms, and the issue may not be resolved until Tuesday.

AEP Texas shows nearly 1,000 customers are without power Monday morning, most of which are located in north Abilene.

The AEP outage map shows that the outages are estimated to be restored sometime between early afternoon Monday through as late as 11:00 p.m. Tuesday.
