19-year-old wanted for shooting death of Jackson teen
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for a 19-year-old in connection to the shooting death of a 15-year-old.

Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said an arrest warrant was issued for Michael Tate, Jr. He’s accused of killing Zacarius Berry, 15.

Berry’s body was located in the 200 block of Rutherford B. Hayes Circle on May 23. Wade said the victim was supposed to graduate from middle school.

Tate is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the Jackson Police Department (JPD) at 601-960-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477).
