Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto’s vehicle targeted in Metairie burglary
METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Another case has shown that law enforcement is not immune to crime, as a burglar broke into Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto’s vehicle on Thursday night.
According to the JPSO, the sheriff’s car was one of several that were broken into in Metairie overnight.
The burglar got away with one of Lopinto’s guns in the burglary, and officials say the JPSO doesn’t yet have a suspect.
