WBRSO deputy arrested, fired following domestic dispute

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A deputy with the West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (WBRSO) has been fired after she was arrested in connection with a domestic dispute.

According to WBRSO, on Tuesday, June 3, deputies were notified by the Baton Rouge Police Department of an active investigation involving a domestic disturbance.

The WBRSO deputy, identified as Delicia Alfred, was assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division.

Alfred was arrested by BRPD and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for battery of a dating partner – child endangerment.

The sheriff’s office says Alfred had been employed with the agency since June 7, 2021.
