‘Jaywalking’ alligator issued summons for crossing the road in Houma
HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — Houma police wrangled an unusual suspect over the weekend.
Houma Police Department officers found a baby alligator walking in the street.
Footage from police shows Officer Donald Aubrey holding the little gator’s mouth shut and asking for tape to wrap it closed.
After a “brief conversation,” the alligator was issued a summons for jaywalking an then released back to its natural habitat.
