Season seven of “Love Island USA,” the American version of the popular competition series that first debuted in the United Kingdom, premieres on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Streaming service Peacock has already introduced its first 10 cast members, one of whom knows a bit about the Pacific Northwest.
“I manage my family’s coffee shop in Gold Beach, Oregon, but I also split up my time in Oahu, Hawaii,” incoming islander Belle-A Walker said in her introduction video. “My mom is the most amazing person ever, always marches to the beat of her own drum. If I can be at least half of the woman she is, I know I’m set for life.”
The 22-year-old contestant’s social media reveals she has also worked as a model, although it doesn’t show which Oregon coffee shop she manages. Walker’s castmates hail from cities including Los Angeles, Miami and Raleigh.
Last year’s cast rose to fame during an explosive season of the U.S. series, after several years of its U.K. counterpart being the most popular franchise among viewers. According to Nielsen data, “Love Island USA” was the top reality show across all streaming services during summer 2024.
The series follows young singles as they “couple up” with other islanders. The contestants share beds, compete in challenges together and — hopefully — find love. Ultimately, the winning couple goes home with $50,000.
Season seven is currently filming in Fiji. Former “Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix will return as the host.
And while Belle-A currently appears to be the only one with an Oregon connection, that could change as the villa “dumps” some islanders and welcomes new “bombshells.”
New episodes will be available on Peacock almost daily, except for Wednesday.
