Ya’lisha is back with the Cares Krewe in helping donate fans to a fan drive that will be given to local’s as the temperatures start to rise.
When asked how many fans they are hoping to get, one worker said, “We have about 300 right now but we’eve gotten 750 before so we’re hoping to get at least 800.” ” We’ve done crazy things like dye our hair and shave our head when we reach our goals so we are very excited.”
We were also able to learn about a special viewer named Debbie Gary. Debbie was a lady who recently passed away, and she had bought a fan for the drive last year. Well, the Marshall Chamber of Commerce brought in that fan to remember Debbie.
The Cares Krewe was happy to donate to the fan drive and continue its mission to spread kindness and help out the community.
