Two injured in early morning shooting outside Alexandria nightclub

ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) – Two people were injured, including one critically, in a shooting outside a nightclub early Saturday morning in Alexandria.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, officers responded to the 2000 block of Lee Street around 3:51 a.m. on May 31 following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment. One of the victims remains in critical condition.

The incident is currently under investigation. Authorities have not released the names of the victims or any information about a possible suspect.
