TEXARKANA, Texas (KTAL/KMSS)—Ten high school seniors were each awarded $1500 scholarships from the Red River Credit Union (RRCU).

“These scholarships recognize the hard work, dedication, and achievements of local students, empowering them to pursue higher education, begin their journey into financial education, and achieve their academic dreams,” a press release stated.

The scholarship winners include:

  • Brooklynne Shaw (Ford High School)
  • Emma Campbell (Redwater High School)
  • Jacelyn Brown (Fouke High School)
  • Kabrean King (Arkansas High School)
  • Kaeden Lichty (Hooks High School)
  • Keele Youngblood (Atlanta High School)
  • Kimberli Garica Olade (Texas High School)
  • Noah Griffin (Pleasant Grove High School)
  • Reece Wilson (Rivercrest High School)
  • Zoe Hawkins (James Bowie High School)

RRCU awards scholarships annually to students who excel in and out of the classroom.

“I am beyond honored to receive a scholarship from RRCU,” said scholarship recipient Kabrean King. “Having a credit union in my community that consistently gives back is truly meaningful. This support reinforces the importance of investing in education and the future of students like myself.”

Recipients were chosen from a competitive pool of applicants and exemplify the RRCU’s dedication, integrity, and perseverance values.
