Mata Drain took the Cares Krewe down to the reopened Wonder Oasis Waterpark and put smiles students who were getting out for summer break.
Students were very excited when the Cares Krewe paid for their passes for the day.
Mata was also able to talk to the owner of the park, Lee M. Hovis and ask him about how he felt about everyone coming in for the summer. He said, “We’re just as excited about summer as everyone else is. Shreveport is such a great community and they deserve to have a family entertainment venue like this.”
Lee also said, “We’ve got big plans coming up. There are a lot of things going on in the future.”
Cares Krewe continues its mission spreading kindness and helping community members have a great summer.
The Cares Krewe looks for deserving recipients each week! You can nominate someone to receive a surprise today. Just click here to submit your nomination or to give us an idea of an organization deserving of a surprise.
