Walker Police Chief David Addison said the arrest of Brian Michael Louviere, 52, was made after a credible witness shared information. A months-long investigation started in November 2024, leading to detectives securing a search warrant for Louviere’s home and devices.
“It is disturbing to learn that there are people in our community who engage in this type of criminality,” Addison said. “We want our citizens to know, however, that we are being diligent in seeking out such people and that we will aggressively pursue them, investigate, and lock them up. We do not want child predators in Walker.”
Louviere was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on a $3.2 million bond.
Police said an investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
