By rssfeeds-admin Dillon is the mascot for Portland’s West Coast League baseball team, the Portland Pickles, which was established in 2015. He is known for his quirky personality, social media presence, and has easily become a fan favorite character at Portland’s summer festivities.
The VP of Business Development for the Portland Pickles Ross Campbell shared, “Dillon has always been more than just a mascot; he’s a symbol of community and joy. Being named Grand Marshal of the CareOregon Starlight Parade is a testament to his impact on Portland’s cultural landscape.”
The Starlight Parade runs from 8:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. and is widely considered one of the Portland Rose Festival’s most cherished traditions. Dillon will be leading the parade as it goes through downtown Portland with approximately 100 illuminated entries following behind.
