Kids, teens can get free meals this summer at Tulare County libraries

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Kids and teenagers throughout Tulare County can get free meals this summer from multiple public libraries.

For children and teens ages one through 18, they will be able to get a free lunch at the various Tulare County library branches from Dinuba to Tipton.

The branches that will provide the free meals are listed below:

  • Alpaugh: Meals will be served on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from June 17 to July 25, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 3816 Ave. 54, Alpaugh.
  • Dinuba: Meals will be served Tuesday through Friday, from June 3 to July 25, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at 150 S I St., Dinuba.
  • Earlimart: Meals will be served Tuesday through Friday, from June 17 to July 25, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 780 E. Washington Ave., Earlimart.
  • Lindsay: Meals will be served Tuesday through Friday, from June 17 to July 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 157 N. Mirage Ave., Lindsay.
  • Pixley: Meals will be served Tuesday through Friday, from June 17 to July 25, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 927 S. Center St., Suite B, Pixley.
  • Strathmore: Meals will be served Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from June 17 to July 25, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 19646 Rd., 230, Strathmore.
  • Tipton: Meals will be served Thursdays and Fridays, from June 19 to July 25, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 301 East Woods Ave., Tipton.
  • Visalia: Meals will be served Tuesday through Friday, June 17 to July 25, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at 200 W. Oak Ave., Visalia.

These meal services are provided as part of the Summer Food Service Program in partnership with the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission (EOC) or local school districts.
