Child hurt after being hit by car in St. Charles driveway

ST. CHARLES, Ill. (WGN) – A child was seriously injured Tuesday evening after being hit by a vehicle in his own driveway.

St. Charles Police said the incident happened just after 5 p.m. in the Royal Fox Subdivision.

First responders arrived at the scene and immediately rendered aid to the child before taking him to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, according to investigators.

No other information was released.
