19-year-old worker killed in accident at Eagle Mountain construction site

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah (ABC4) — A 19-year-old worker was killed in an accident at a construction site on Tuesday.

According to Sgt. Ray Ormond with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, the worker died after reportedly being hit by a piece of heavy construction equipment.

The incident happened at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at a construction site near Blackbird Drive in the Frontier Square neighborhood.

The 19-year-old died at the scene, and Ormond said the incident is believed to be an accident.
