DRAPER, Utah (ABC4) — A man died while swimming at a community pool in Draper Tuesday evening.
According to Lieutenant Mike Elkins with Draper Police Department, the man was in his 30s and suffered a medical issue while in a pool at a complex near 14800 South and Quarry Point Lane. Bystanders and medical personnel on scene attempted to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m.
The case has been turned over to the State Medical Examiner to determine a cause of death. Police do not suspect foul play at this time.
