WEST MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — Beloved Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson has sadly passed away at the age of 79, according to a Facebook post shared by his daughter-in-law Korie Robertson.

A few months before his passing, the Duck Dynasty family shared that Phil Robertson was battling Alzheimer’s disease—a diagnosis they first made public in December 2024.
Phil, the founder of Duck Commander in West Monroe, La., played a major role in shaping tourism for Northeast Louisiana through the success of his business and the hit reality show Duck Dynasty. The family had also recently announced the reboot of the series, bringing renewed attention to their legacy.
