By rssfeeds-admin SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Shreveport’s garbage collection will change on Memorial Day, May 26.
According to the City of Shreveport, garbage will not be collected on Monday; it will be collected the following day.
Tuesday’s garbage will be collected on Wednesday, 28, 2025. There will be no changes for Thursday and Friday’s garbage collection.
If you need additional information or would like to request a heavy item (bulk) pick up, please call the Solid Waste Office at (318) 673-6300.
The Woolworth Road Regional Solid Waste Facility will be open on Monday, May 26th. For more information about this facility, you may call (318) 925-3500.
