HARRISBURG – This past weekend, members of the Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1980 celebrated their 45th Reunion.
The celebration was held at the Best Western Premier in Harrisburg on Saturday. Thursday marked 45 years to the day of their graduation.
One attendee came from as far as Montana.
The graduates and their spouses enjoyed dinner and memories, organizers said. They also remembered classmates they’d lost: Marjorie Comrey; Delores Markle; Debra Powell; Frank Russell; and Ronald Slovinsky.
Classmates in attendance included: Karen Schaeffer, Bobbi Purcell Maberry, Kathy Lutz, Kathy Brannan, Bev Lewis Hand, Linda Russell, Lisa Silver, Ann Snyder, Jim Conway, Bill Jacavage, Ruth Laubenstine Yablonski, Karen Kosta Picconi, Beth Flannery, Cindy Hollister Junkins, Cyria Hart, Lou Christino, and Jim Williams.
