Auburn woman killed in Pine Grove area motorcycle crash

PINE GROVE – An Auburn woman died after a motorcycle crash in western Schuylkill County Tuesday afternoon.

Felicia Moyer, 24, of Auburn, was riding a motorcycle when state troopers say she was hit by a van just outside Pine Grove. She succumbed to her injuries at a Pottsville hospital.

According to State Police at Schuylkill Haven, Moyer was riding along East Pottsville Street just east of School Street in Pine Grove Township.

A Ford Econoline van, driven by 81-year-old Timothy O’Rourke, of Lykens, entered Pottsville Road from a parking lot as Moyer was passing.

Moyer struck the front corner of the van and was significantly injured, troopers said.

She was pronounced dead at a Pottsville hospital.

O’Rourke will be cited for the crash.
