2 taken to hospital after Somerset crash at traffic light 13

SOMERSET, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Somerset on Saturday afternoon.

Just after 5 p.m. on Saturday, the Somerset Fire Department posted on Facebook that crews had been dispatched to traffic light 13 in response to a two-vehicle crash that left two people injured and both vehicles heavily damaged.

Emergency personnel took the pair to the hospital. Authorities didn’t say what condition they were in.

The crash remains under investigation. Somerset police reportedly helped fire and emergency crews at the scene.
