Teen killed, two injured in Alexandria shooting on Clark Street

ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) — A 17-year-old boy has died, and two others were injured following a shooting Wednesday evening in Alexandria, police said.

Officers with the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 4000 block of Clark Street around 5:30 p.m. on May 21 after reports of gunfire. Three individuals were transported to a local hospital, according to authorities.

Two of the victims sustained moderate injuries. The third, identified as 17-year-old Corey Brooks, died from his injuries on Thursday, police confirmed.

The incident remains under investigation.
