Both Fantasia and Anthony Hamilton have made significant contributions to the music industry. Fantasia first captured the attention of fans in 2004 when she competed in and won the third season of American Idol. Since then, she has released seven studio albums and won two Grammy Awards. In addition to her music career, Fantasia has starred in the film adaptation of “The Color Purple.” She also wrote a New York Times best-selling autobiography, which was later adapted into a movie.
R&B legend Anthony Hamilton gained widespread recognition after performing the chorus for the rap group Nappy Roots‘ hit single, “Po’ Folks.” He went on to win a Grammy Award and received over a dozen nominations throughout his career. Hamilton has released ten albums and sold more than 50 million copies worldwide.
