By rssfeeds-admin BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office was called to the scene of a deadly shooting at the Avalon Apartments, 13047 Florida Boulevard on Thursday, May 22, according to EMS.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said the call came in around 5:45 a.m. and the shooting left one man dead another woman hurt.
EMS confirmed that one person was taken to the hospital and their condition is unknown.
The investigation remains ongoing and more information will be shared as it becomes available.
