BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) – Louisiana native and “American Idol” runner-up John Foster will perform at the Cajun Country Jam in Denham Springs during Memorial Day weekend.
Foster’s surprise performance was announced on Tuesday, May 20.
He will perform on both Saturday and Sunday.
The three-day festival will take place at Pards North Park, May 23 to May 25, and is set to feature favorite country artists from the past and present, including Parish County Line, Chris Cagle, Chase Tyler, Wayne Toups, Dylan Scott, and more.

A native of Addis, Foster came in second place during the finale of “American Idol” on Sunday night.
