ORIGINAL STORY: LAFAYETTE, LA (KLFY) – The Lafayette Police Department is currently on scene in the 600 block of E. Kaliste Saloom Rd., due to an accident in which powerlines are down, police said.
As a result of the incident, motorists will experience traffic delays in the immediate area.
Police ask motorists to find an alternate route of travel.
