Stolen Glock, weed found in probationer’s car: Livermore PD

(KRON) – A Sacramento man is facing drug and weapon charges after a stolen gun and marijuana were found in his car, according to the Livermore Police Department.

Patrol officers said they noticed a man in the front seat of a car around 1 a.m. on Friday. According to Livermore PD, there was a visible Glock 10mm handgun tucked into the rear pocket of the front passenger seat.

Police searched the vehicle and said officers found more than an ounce of marijuana and a digital scale. It was also discovered that the Glock was reported stolen out of Vallejo last year.

The driver was identified as a 38-year-old probationer. 

He was arrested and booked on suspicion of multiple drug and firearm-related charges, including possession of a stolen firearm, carrying a loaded firearm in public and carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.
