At least 1 killed in double shooting on Indy’s near NE side

INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is underway after at least one person was killed in a double shooting on Indy’s near northeast side Saturday night.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of East 29th Street & North Dearborn Street on the report of shots fired.

An IMPD police report indicated two males were shot during the incident and at least one person died from their injuries.

No additional information was released. The incident remains under investigation.
