Metra train strikes truck on Southwest Side

CHICAGO — A Metra train struck a truck Friday morning on the Southwest Side.

Sky9Cam over 87th and Pulaski at around 8:45 showed a white truck struck near the intersection.

The train is stopped at the moment and it was due into downtown at 8:32 a.m.

The truck was unoccupied and no injuries were reported on the train, Metra said.
