Legendary Lawry’s The Prime Rib replacement is announced

CHICAGO (WGN) — Nearly five years after Lawry’s announced it was closing their doors at the McCormick Mansion, a replacement has been announced.

The magic venue The Hand & The Eye is set to open at 100 E Ontario in Spring of 2026.

AJM Public Relations released a statement Thursday announcing the venue’s opening.

“This groundbreaking venue, a home away from home for magicians from around the world, promises an experience where guests don’t simply watch the magic, but are a part of it,” the statement said.

The interactive experience will include exploring the 37-room mansion with each night being unique and visitors involved in the magic, according to the release.
