Private memorial service held for Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael
OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. (WGN) — Loved ones and close friends gathered Thursday for a private memorial service for Hall of Fame Chicago Bear Steve McMichael.
Former Chicago Bear teammates and other Hall of Famers like Dan Hampton, Mike Singletary, Richard Dent, Jim Covert and other 1986 Super Bowl champion teammates converged on the funeral home at Chapel Hill Gardens West to pay their respects.
The private memorial service was closed to the press, but a large image of McMichael was visible through the funeral home doors.
