Impractical Jokers’ Sal Vulcano on touring, 50 Cent and Shreveport’s own Rubba Boot

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – For the first time ever, Sal Vulcano is bringing his stand-up tour to Shreveport, and fans of Impractical Jokers, comedy specials, and chaotic pranks are ready.

The “Impractical Jokers” star will take the stage at The Strand Theatre on May 15, 2025, at 7 p.m., marking his first-ever comedy stop in Shreveport. But before he hits the mic, Vulcano sat down with KTAL News Now’s Erykah Agers to talk touring, being a new father, Rubba Boot, and even 50 Cent.

His Everything’s Fine Tour 2025 will hit the historic Strand Theatre this Thursday, and it’s a whole new hour of material.

“I’ve never been through there, so I really want to see what you guys bring to the table,” Vulcano said.

The show marks Vulcano’s first time performing live in Shreveport, though fans have been watching him for over a decade on Impractical Jokers, which recently kicked off Season 12.

“This is all new stuff,” Vulcano said. “I’m talking about my family for the first time, being married, having a daughter, stuff I never put on stage before.”

In addition to TV, he’s kept busy with his comedy special Terrified, now streaming on Max, and multiple podcast projects. He’s also producing a new hidden-camera prank series called Foul Play, in collaboration with NBA star Anthony Davis.

Between writing jokes in his laundry room and parenting a toddler, Vulcano says he’s thrilled to finally visit Louisiana, and he already has Shreveport’s own 50 Cent on his mind.

“I’m going to try to roam the streets and bump into 50 Cent for sure,” he joked.

Known for his podcast hits Hey Babe and Taste Buds, Vulcano says he plans to return to both projects after the tour wraps, but for now, it’s all about the stage, and Shreveport’s first taste of his solo comedy.
