SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — A Slidell man has been arrested following a house search turned drug bust in the area on Thursday, May 8.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, during a search of a home in the 3700 block of Riviera Drive, detectives allegedly found 392 illegally owned tapentadol pills, 43 pills packaged for distribution, which contained methamphetamine, 6.1 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Following the search, 20-year-old Vincent Parker was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on charges of possession with the intent to distribute schedule II CDS (tapentadol), possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Another individual, 40-year-old Broderika Encalade, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
