According to the Slidell Police Department, shortly before 6 a.m., police were notified of an alleged hit-and-run of a parked car near North Boulevard. Shortly after, officers saw the suspected vehicle on Seventh Street and attempted a traffic stop.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, identified as 57-year-old Tana Boudreaux, of Slidell, fled. Police reportedly chased Boudreaux through Olde Town Slidell until at least one of the vehicle’s tires came off, and it came to a stop after hitting a stop sign.
Boudreaux was arrested and booked into the Slidell City Jail on the following charges:
