By rssfeeds-admin UPDATE 5/10/25 9:55 PM: The Unified Police Department confirms to ABC4 that one person was critically injured in a shooting in Kearns earlier this evening.
Around 8 p.m., Unified Police received a shots fired call in the area of 6000 South Cougar Lane. Officers arrived on scene and found an individual on the ground and began live saving measures. The victim was taken to the hospital where they remain in critical condition.
Cougar Lane will remain shut down for at least the next two hours as police continue their investigation.

KEARNS, Utah (ABC4) – The Unified Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in Kearns Saturday evening.
Details are limited, but police confirm the shooting happened in the area of 6000 South Cougar Lane. Both northbound and southbound directions are closed for the investigation and will remain closed for several hours.
ABC4 has a crew on scene and will update here when new information becomes available.
