Rain is possible this weekend
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A large upper-level low will develop very close to the ArkLaTex this weekend. This will bring cooler temperatures and a chance of rain.

Saturday forecast:   Expect lots of clouds on Saturday.  Much of the day will be dry. Scattered showers could begin to spread into the eastern half of the area during the afternoon.  Temperatures will begin in the 50s and lower 60s.  Daytime highs will be in the 70s and lower 80s.

Tomorrow’s forecast

Sunday:  The chance of rain will likely increase on Sunday as temperatures will be cooler. More widespread showers will spread from east to west over the area.  Lows will mainly be in the 50s.  Daytime highs on Sunday afternoon will only climb into the 60s.

10-day forecast for shreveport

Hot and mainly dry next week:  Temperatures next week will quickly heat up.  Once the upper-level low moves out, sunshine will return starting on Tuesday.  Most of next week will see daytime highs in the lower 90s.  Overnight lows will eventually warm into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be a slight possibility next Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday.
