1 killed in single vehicle crash on LA Highway 3132

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Caddo Parish Patrol deputies are investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in one person’s death early Wednesday morning in south Caddo Parish, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

At 2:36 AM, deputies responded to an accident on LA Highway 3132 at the Dean Road overpass.

According to a CPSO release, when they arrived, they discovered that a passenger vehicle traveling westbound on LA Highway 3132 had struck the bridge, resulting in the driver, identified as Justin R. Brooks, 30, being ejected from the vehicle.

The Shreveport Fire Department arrived at the scene and pronounced the driver dead.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
