Caddo Parish Patrol deputies are investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in one individual’s death this afternoon in South Caddo Parish, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.
Law enforcement says just after noon, on Monday deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 13800 block of Keithville Keatchie Road in southern Caddo Parish. They discovered a full-size pickup truck in a ditch on the east side of the road, with two individuals inside.
Caddo Fire Districts 4 and 6 also arrived at the scene and transported the driver, who had life-threatening injuries, along with the passenger, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, to a hospital in Shreveport.
Law enforcement says upon arrival at the hospital, medical staff pronounced the driver deceased.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
