LEESVILLE, La. (WNTZ) — The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office has reported several arrests between May 2 and May 5, including charges ranging from theft and domestic abuse to out-of-parish warrants and extradition.

On May 2, Caleb Paul Ledet, 25, of Rosepine, was arrested and charged with one count of theft over $750. Bond was set at $7,500. Ledet posted bond and was released.

Also on May 2, Devan Bardwell, 17, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal damage to property and one count of domestic abuse battery. Bardwell’s bond was set at $15,000. He remains in the Vernon Parish Jail.

On May 3, Jared Logan Smart, 36, of Anacoco, was arrested on an out-of-jurisdiction warrant from Calcasieu Parish. Smart has been transferred to authorities in Calcasieu Parish.

On May 5, Emma Michelle Campbell, 19, of Lufkin, Tennessee, was arrested on a commitment to await extradition warrant. She remains in custody awaiting extradition to Texas.

Also on May 5, Christopher Conde, 52, of Aiken, South Carolina, was arrested and charged with one count of violation of a court order. Bond was set at $7,500. Conde remains in the Vernon Parish Jail.

David Kent Craft, 68, of Anacoco, was also arrested May 5 and charged with one count of domestic abuse aggravated assault. His bond was set at $25,000. Craft posted bond and was released.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
